HP Blinking green light on the laptop AC adapter

hp laptop. removed hd, dvd, battery. On AC power. Press power button, fan comes on for about 5 sec., nothing on screen. Power light start blinking. Bootup is stalled. No beeps, No video. Help?

Also if you have a light on the power jack/ input /port that usually blue when you plug the cord in and it is not blue anymore (i.e. DV6000 or DV9000 series) then it is also a short on the board.

The chances for dell and HP / Compaq computers that have a blinking light / shortage on the motherboard are about 60% that we can fix it because we know what to look for, again there are no tools out there that can identify where the short is at but since we are in business of power repairs on laptop computers we for the most part know where to look for the short. Again chances for dell and hp computers are 60%. For all other computers are about 40% chance that we will find where the short is at. Again we can only fix it if the light goes out on the hp laptop ac adapter, or keeps blinking green whenever you plug in the ac adapter into the laptop. Or if it is some HP model that has a light on the power connector / jack such as HP DV6000 DV9000. hey friend I have been on google for about an hour now looking for a simpler way to solve this problem. its caused by a power failure. 
if you have your battery out. while the computer is turned on and you unplug it. this will happen. its some saftey bs. how I get it to work again is by taking off the door to expose the ram underneath the wireless adapter. 
there is a watch battery remove it and your bios resets and ur computer will work. you might need to re configure ur bios again. and ur system clock. 
my computer will not boot with the function. sata native support enabled. if ur computer refuses to load after removing the battery try disabling that. 
if you are unsure about where the battery is. 
its the middle door. underneath the wireless laptop ac power adapter. the wireless adapter will have 2 antenna wires connecting to it. and be held down by 2 screws. 
remove this and u will see the battery. remove the battery and put it back together. 

took me forever to figure this out.

Dell Laptop Battery not detected

My laptop says no battery is detected?
i have a dell and today my laptop just shut down by it self. i plugged in the charger but again it shut down few minutes later. i turned it on once more and i saw by the battery life thing a red x on it. i clicked on it and it says no battery is detected.please help to fix this
Answer:"I suggest that you shut the system down, remove the battery and disconnect the laptop ac adapter, press and hold the power button for 20 to 30 seconds. Now connect only the ac adapter and wait for 30 seconds and turn on the system. This will drain any residual charge in the capacitors.
Please check if the original dell Ac adapter and battery works fine on another computer. Also check if the dell pa-21 charger and battery is detected in the BIOS. To go to BIOS, restart the system and at Dell logo tap the F2 key every two seconds. Under the option General navigate to Battery information and highlight it. To the right side the battery and Ac adapter information will be listed. Check the status of Ac adapter and battery and reply with the findings.
